I wonder if it is possible for a person's head to actually explode from sinus pressure (it is like my eyes are in danger of actually popping out of their sockets at any minute).......
I wonder why all airflow is cut off to my body when I lay down (you know those dolls that close their eyes when you lay them down? same thing with my nose)............
I wonder how I have a stopped up nose that still runs - isnt that a contradiction in terms?.......
I wonder why I cant hear very well, but the sound of my 4 yr old screeching like a car coming to a stop makes my head swim (it is like a sound that only a dog or a dolphin can hear).......
I wonder why when I turn my head it takes at least 2 minutes for it to actually get there ( I am in a fog, people)..........
I wonder where all this junk in my head has come from (satan I bet).............
I wonder if anyone has ever died from a sinus infection.... I might be the first (If I never post on this blog again, you will know why)
I also wonder why it is that you cannot pour hot chocolate mix into boiling water without it bubbling over like a chemistry experiment, but you can pour boiling water over the hot chocolate mix and nothing happens (I also wonder why I can never remember which is the correct way to do it and why I always end up having to clean up a huge chocolate mess)...
I would love to post something worthy of your reading time, but my head is so full of snot I am too dizzy to think (well, I cant think of anything but summer and the days when I was well).
What I would really love to do is lay down on my couch with my big quilt and go to sleep (for about 6 hours), but that is apparently not a possibility when you have small children (and a husband).
So, when I can think clearly, I will post something that you would actually care to read (unlike this post - sorry for wasting your time).......... :-)

I have had sinus infections and wondered those same things! I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I hope you are on antibiotics. If not - get thyself to the Dr!
bethanne,
I hope you are feeling better soon!
By the way, the kids and I went to see the Guinness Book of World Records Hall of Fame and we did see the lady who can pop her eyeballs out the farthest and I am sorry to say-----it was NOT you! :)
I hear you! I'm finally getting over all that junk!
I'm going to pray for you siesta!!
Go run a hot bath, light some candles, put on some great music and soak in the Lord for a little while. THEN GO TO BED!!!!!
Thinking about you!
steph.
I feel your pain....literally! I blame it on the weather changing every other day...cold, warm, sunny, rain....life in Florida. I love it, but it does do a number on the sinuses! Feel better soon.
I'm so sorry you feel bad. I had one sinus infection in my life and the pain was TERRIBLE and I thought for sure I would die from it.
Hopefully you slept good last night and are feeling better today.
Get some good ole fashion rest this weekend. Give that hubby strict orders! :)
Hugs~
Fran
Oh no, I'm sorry that you feel so lousy :( I hope you feel well soon.
I wish I was as funny and contemplative as you are when I am sick! I was still chuckling over your comment on my blog of other cars thinking you and the kids are crazy (my boys and I do the same thing!!) while praising Jesus in your car...and then I found this post that both made me chuckle at your ponderings that I can sooo relate to and gave me an overwhelming feeling to bring you some soup!! I am praying for a quick healing...and early spring for you, dear one!! I look forward to reading more from you :)
blessings, mariel
