High School Musical (Freezer Style) **Updated**

So, we went to see High School Musical on Ice Friday. I was actually impressed with the show. Was it worth $30 a ticket? No, but it was a good show. I was not; however, impressed with the $15 snow cones in blinking HSM cups or the $30 t-shirts. But, I suppose we can chalk it up to making precious memories (or stupidity). We really did have a good time and the sad part is -- I know all the songs and even some of the lines........Pathetic? Maybe. The good part is that my kids are still small enough that they think it is cool that their mom knows all the words to "Bop to the Top" and "Fabulous".

Field Day tomorrow.....sack race, spoon race, three legged race......ahhhhh to be 6 again.....

**Update** No spoon race for us today. Weather is nasty (and cold). I also wanted to warn you guys that my computer is acting very strangely and if you notice my absence from blog land for a while, it will be because my computer crashed. Pray that the Lord miraculously heals my ailing HP.

Hey, I actually saw Steve taking the photo of you and the boys! I thought the same thing, girl, next time hit the wal mart for the imitation shirts! LOL

I loved our seats, the kids could stand and I could hang on the bar as I sung every song! Pathetic, I know! LOL

I meant to talk to your friend after SS but didn't get a chance too. Please tell her I hate that I missed her and would love to see her again!!

Happy Mother's Day, Love ya!

What's funny is, a guy from the High School Musical show came into my work. So I talked to a few people from the show on the phone. I've never seen the movie or anything, though, so I wouldn't know any of the lines.

They always get you with the extras! Glad you enjoyed the show, though!

You have such a beautiful family! Yes, I can relate to your experience. We recently went to see "Finding Nemo" on Ice and we decided to treat the boys & get them cotton candy...$10..what?! It was crazy. Glad you had a fun time though!

What a great time for you and your family. The only time we went to see something "on ice", I nearly froze to death. Under a blanket and wearing a coat and gloves... we were still shivering.

Have fun today at field day!

Looks like a good time was had by all! We went to Elmo's Coloring book last year the cost of concessions and balloons was unreal...but the kids like the show and we had front row seats!

Looking good! I can only imagine the prices. Why they do that, nobody knows. It's not like they don't get enough $ from the tickets.

Computers! Nasty things they can be!!! It has been a nasty sort of day. Sean and I stayed in....

I remember the days of expensive entertaining. I'm still in them, but have learned a lot along the way. With two older boys (19, 16), one of the beauties of their age is that fact that they work...having spending $ to call their own. Recently, they attended a portion of the NCAA basketball tourny and paid for their own tickets. However, I think they passed on the t-shirts and snow cones and pretzels. Too expensive they claimed!

I agree with stephanie, such a beautiful family!

Sounds like a good time. It will be so sad when our kids stop thinking we are cool, won't it?

Oh, wait a minute! Maybe I'm wrong about your computer crashing. I think this is the part where you once told me to say, "Oh Bethanne probably gave up her blog to do modeling. Of course, you know she looks young enough to be mistaken for a teen model!"

(How did I do?)

Mommyluann said...

I told Steve this morning at church that I was having withdrawel since your computer was down. Keep the faith fellow bloggers...we all hope bethanne's computer will be healed soon. It's still "being worked on"....
